Magnetic Launches Online Sports Lounge for Champs Sports Fans

TAMPA - Champs Sports fans can now hang out in a new interactive online sports lounge designed by Magnetic, a full-service Web development firm.

The Champs Sports Lounge (www.champssportslounge.com) is a place where sports fans and consumers alike can learn about the latest products available in Champs Sports stores nationwide and online at www.champssports.com, including the recently released Reebok Talkin' Krazy shoe, which hit stores in mid-September.

The Lounge boasts a Sports Den featuring "Jaws Chatter," where former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski provides Fantasy Football tips and updates, answers questions and provides his take on the match-ups of the week. Visitors can also access a Media Gallery complete with photos, videos and music, and detailed information on the latest Champs Sports' events and contests.

"The Champs Sports Lounge site gave the Magnetic team an opportunity to show just how creative they can be. It was definitely a fun challenge for our designers, who delivered a knock-out site under a very aggressive deadline," said Jennifer Bakunas, president, Magnetic.

Adds Rob Brodersen, vice president, marketing, Champs Sports: "The site truly enhances the customer's online experience. It gives any sports enthusiast reason to stay connected to the Champs Sports brand."

Champs Sports, a division of Foot Locker, Inc., is one of the largest sports-specialty, mall-based athletic retailers in North America, providing the latest hook-ups of footwear, apparel and accessories to the sports inspired male.
